Questions from Tonya:
1. How did you decide on your blog title and what is it about?

2. What inspired you to start blogging?
This blog came as a result of a difficult time in life and a push from a dear friend- Please show her some support here! I wanted to get out of the rut, and writing helped me process my feelings and get some positivity in my life.

3. List 11 random facts about yourself.

Writing, the feeling that I can make you guys smile sometimes, and knowing all of you!

6. What is your ultimate goal for your blog?
Just continue to be able to inspire someone and myself too. It's a part of me that I want to keep in my life.

7. What is the most difficult part of writing and running a blog for you?
Time- it gets busy with a full-time job and inspiration doesn't usually follow a schedule.

8. If you had 3 wishes, what would they be?
Happiness, love, travel.

9. What is one of your biggest fears? Why?
Not enough time.

10. If you could do or be anything in the world, what would it be?

The push came from a dear friend of mine when I was going through a hard difficult phase. I always loved to write, and just that push was what I needed.

2. What is the hardest part about building a constant readership in your eyes?
It's kind of hard to always have inspiration and ideas, and a busy schedule doesn't help either. It takes time, and you gotta be consistent.

3. Where are you from and would you rather live somewhere else?
I am from California and I love the sunshine land

4. Are you a crafty person? If so, what is your craft of choice?
I would say I kind of am- I like scrapbooking.

8. How would you describe your style?
This is a hard one! Is it my dressing style or my writing style or something else?

9. Who is currently your favorite music artist?
Taylor Swift, but it keeps changing every few days. I listen to a song repeatedly and then I start hating it!

10. Sandals or heels?

A day in San Francisco — Memorial Day

If you have followed my blog for sometime, you probably know about my big move across coast. It's been a few months being a Cali resident, but I haven't gotten out as much as I would have liked.  Maybe once we move to a place, it kinda loses the tourist charm that it has when we visit for a weekend. Don't you think? I decided to make this right and this Memorial Day weekend, I spent my first Touristy day in San Francisco. Like anything else, I made a long list of places to see, and spread it across three days based on distance proximity. Yes, it was a whole weekend plan but life get in way and hence it ended up being just a day trip. The day started with a little detour at Bay Trail, near Shoreline Park, followed by a quick brunch at Crepe Vine and a beautiful long drive to the city. The Painting Ladies at Alamo Square was our first stop. These are basically just houses with a Victorian architecture and painted with three or more colors. The whole area l...

Transient Tuesdays: Don’t Be Afraid of Change

There are two types of people: those who fear change and those who actively pursue. I have always been an active pursuer of change, while my brother was not. I was the kid who changed my after school activity until I found what I really loved, with no fear at all. I was the one who changed my hair in middle school, who became a leader in a club during my freshmen year of high school, and who insisted on touring the country at 17.  Change is a choice, and is an active endeavor. And so is not changing. We decide the direction our lives take, and we can either do so with fear or with confidence. Making changes keeps life the way you want it, on the track you wish to take, and is completely you’re choice what to do, or not do. Change shouldn't scare you, because it’s a tool to help you make your life just the way you want. Although staying where you are is comforting, change can make you grow and improve your situation. So go change your hair, your job, your city, or w...

Transient Tuesdays: Create change

Imagine a world where everything remained unchanged. That would mean no age, no time, no movement and of course no development. If you ask me, I see no difference between death and remaining static. When was the last time you did something new?  How long have you been sticking to a routine and disregarded the idea of doing something new for a change? Is any of your bad habits causing you pain?  You realize you have to change but simply can't bring yourself to do it?   Do you fear changing will jeopardize your present circumstances? I’m sure many of you will be able to relate to these questions. The fact that you're reading this means you want to take the steps and turn your life around. You must be aware how important change is to our survival. Change is mandatory. Change is constant. Change is inevitable. Change is everywhere and present in the most minute of things. It's happening to you as you read this. So, why do we shy away from...
