My new goals

At the beginning of last month, I started with setting goals for myself .  So, now it's time for an update: - I would say I did okay (not great). - I did achieve my goals for my blog, my personal writing and studying. - But I fell behind in workouts and also I didn't get around to reading. For the next month, my new goals are: STUDY harder- I have to improve my grades. I am gonna get an A. WORKOUT - be consistent, and follow a healthy diet.  BLOG - continue to be creative. I am aiming at thrice a week now, and the plan is to follow a Monday-Wednesday-Friday schedule. I think it makes more sense for me right now to focus on just these three and do a good job at them, instead of juggling too much and making a mess of my life. I think starting new things will have to wait a few months.  What are your new goals for this month (or old)? P.S. Let's connect on  Facebook ,  Instagram ,  Pinterest ,  Bloglovin ,  and ...

February Goals

Participating in the Make a habit, break a habit linkup yesterday got me thinking. Every year we all set up a bunch of goals for ourselves, which we may or may not achieve. I fall in the latter categories mostly. So, I have decided to take a problem solving approach and break it down to more achievable goals and hold myself accountable each month. For February I am a few days late, but better late than never, right? Here's my list: Finish READING the book  ( A million little pieces ) I started few months ago, but never finished because of my laziness WORKOUT  at least 21 days this month - making a habit Stay active on BLOG  , I'd say 4 times a week maybe. Write in my JOURNAL  every day- one liners would do! STUDY consistently - more than 3 days a week. I will be back with update on this at end of month. Wish me luck! P.S. I also found these old February goals . Also, check out my linkup goals . What are your goals?  ...

Things I wanna do in Spring break

In a week, I will be done with exams and my Spring break will start. So I think I should make a little list of goals for that. (I don't wanna end up feeling I did nothing in the break.) 1. Road trip to Connecticut and Boston. Yeah! That's the plan for now.. Visiting the places with my friends for the weekend when break starts.. 2. LinkedIn and Resume. I have to start looking for internships for summer. So, I have to have a good resume and profile. 3. Apply for internships. Really want one! 4. Cook. I don't get any time with college to do so.. Want to cook something new. 5. Go for the 5 hours driving class. Want to get a driving license as soon as I can. 6. Buy a book and read it. It's been a long time now since I read one. 7. Lastly, get proper rest & good exercise! The race will start again for three months after that week. I can't wait.. :o)

I am thankful for

This week I am thankful for: 1: Going to gym regularly. (My body hurts, but feels good.) 2. Finishing some amount of course work (Though a lot is still to be done!) 3. Two night outs :-) (Though that put me behind in my study schedule) 4. Good grades. (Just assignments I am talking about) 5. Working part-time. (Money! Money!) 6. Less snow. (Compared to what it is here usually) 7. My new Red woolen cap. (It's so cozy and warm) What are you thankful for?
