5 things on my shopping list

1. Slip-on shoes: As much as I love heels, flats are my go-to shoes. And I really love TOMS slip-on shoes, so they definitely go to the top of my shopping list. I found these jutti style shoes and I WANT THEM SO BAD!!  Buy here 2. Colorblock Tote: For a long time I have been looking for a bag which I can use while travelling or on short trips. Yes, I am a girl and I need space in my bag. I came across this bag on Kohl's website, and I have kept it in my cart for few days thinking I might change my mind later (I usually do this so I can avoid the regret of spending on something I didn't really want.)  Looks like I really do want it, and since there is need too- this will have to go on my shopping list. Buy here 3. Fountain pens: I love to write- journal, letters, and I recently remembered how much I liked that phase in middle school when we used fountain pens. I found this Varsity fountain pen set on Amazon, and on the up side- it comes in 7 colors! Buy ...

My big move

This last weekend was my big move across country. I am starting a new job soon, so new city new place. It is pretty exciting; I am thinking about home decor ALL THE TIME! I know it is going to take time set up the place and it will be one thing at a time, but I can't stop. I even made a Pinterest board for decor ideas- Check it out!  But along with all the excitement, it is also scary and overwhelming. There is SO MUCH to do. And having to do it alone, makes it even scarier. For every little thing you have to make a decision yourself, and some of those have to be quick. On top of that, unpacking is so damn hard. I am just procrastinating most of the time because I dread it. Plus I have no furniture to put my stuff in. But, slowly doing what I can. And, like every big thing, this big move also comes with some realizations: You need food and sleep. In a long list of things to do, these two tend to take a back seat. But our body has a way of reminding us their importance ...

Things I learned

1. A day is really long if you wake up early. So, I'd rather just sleep in. 2. Anger never makes you feel good. Forgiving does. Love does. 3. Anxiety kills the excitement and curiosity. But I never seem to remember this. 4. You can never have too much Pizza. At least I can't. 5. Friends are truly the best part of life, if you got the right ones.  Luckily, I've got them. 6. A girl needs shopping. Point to remember guys  7. It's really hard to study, after you get a break. What am I gonna do :(

A Versatile Blogger!

A big thanks to Krystal for giving me the versatile blogger award. I had recently found her cute lovely blog.  Go check her out  here ! Now, here are the rules that come with this blog: 1. Thank the person who gave you the award and link back to them in your post. 2. Tell us seven things about yourself. 3. Award 7 recently discovered new bloggers. 4. Contact these bloggers and let them know they've received the award. So, here I go. 1. I already did that. Thanks again, Krystal. 2. Seven things about me. Hmmmm... Ok. I am gonna write the 7 things I learned recently about myself.    (i) I can never be a morning person, no matter how hard I try. Getting up early is the most dreadful thing to me.    (ii) I am the biggest procrastinator you'll ever come across. I tend to put off even the most important things.     (iii) I love going out and being with friends, I just have to break through the web of laziness around me. ...

I am thankful for

This week I feel thankful for: 1. Sunshine. It was great to see the sun a few times this week! 2. Shopping. It's become my favorite word, finally! Wish for more and more shopping. I am getting greedy now. 3. Bonfire. On the festival of Lohri , with my siblings. It was fun. 4. Dad saying, "You are my son." One of the best moments :) 5. Classes getting over. Yaaay! 6. Waking up late this week. I love sleeping in morning. And someone hates me for this ;) 7. Topping the list in Cafe World. (This one's lame, I know!) What are you thankful for? P.S. Something to share!

Dear Readers, I have a news to share with you all. I got a job (my first job) and very soon I'll start working. I got this good news just 3 days back i.e. on 4th February. I have the joining on 22nd February. Hardly any time left, I know. And thus, I am very busy doing the shopping. I've done only a little till now, so much to do yet in such a little time. I am so happy and excited about my job. The only worry is that I have to join at a new place, new people where I don't know anybody. I have never been to that place before, and its too far and different from here. Also, the climate and food are very different, and I have also heard that most of people fail to adapt to them. So, as of now, it seems like a new world to me. But I am hoping for the best, and I just hope that it turns out to be a good experience to me. I wish it's the change I had been waiting for so long to happen.  *Fingers crossed*    First three months are going to be extensive t...

Thankyou!

Yes! My birthday went good. Not actually one day- it was like a whole birthday week. My birthday this year coincided with Diwali, so I could not go out and celebrate. But, still it was a good busy day with family and relatives, we did shopping, travelling, followed by a dinner with family and Diwali celebrations. Next day, was the combined birthday treat by me and my friend. It was great fun being together!  The next day was again busy because of travelling, but was really sweet and special in the end. (I got a lovely birthday gift which was very much unexpected this time.)  All of it was a great time.  And today is another birthday, my younger sister's. I wish the best of life for her! P.S. Thanks to all my readers for their sweet wishes :) And special thanks to Aubrey for the award. (My first award)

Go shopping!

Today was a bad day. All I did was sleep! Usually I enjoy sleeping a lot, but not the way it was today. I wasn't feeling well, and was struck by fatigue. And I just don't like that feeling! Moreover, I had planned to study, and sleep spoiled all my plans. And when finally I picked up the books and sat for studying, I had a fight and I was super angry. My head started aching, and I just couldn't concentrate on studying despite trying hard. So, I decided to go out. Though my foot was paining, but I just couldn't stay like that. So, I got ready and went out for window-shopping, which turned into real-shopping as I liked a t-shirt and bought it. Also, I bought two greeting cards. And, all of it really helped to chill my mood. Hence proved: Shopping is really a stress buster!

Where was I ?

Its been almost two weeks since I had last posted here. And I can't even figure out why I was not posting! I wasn't sad or upset. I wasn't much busy. Maybe, I can blame it upon the slow internet ! Also, on my  reading , which kept me engrossed. Well! Let's say that was a good break ..     I think I should update a bit about where I had been and what I have been doing all these days... - ONE DAY WITH A FRIEND:  We went to a mall, watched a movie, did little shopping, driving, and lots of chatting! - FAMILY TIME: It was enjoyable to be with mom-dad and fighting with my siblings. - READING BOOKS : I am really happy when I am reading! - CLEAN UP: I cleaned up my room and cupboard. Finally! - WRITING: A little writing in diary, and few greetings for someone!      Besides, I took my medicines and did my usual foot exercises, because walking properly again is the only thing I wish right now!

Hopes Hopes Hopes

Finally, I am back here and I am really happy about it. Though I miss home and family and all that care I got. I miss them a lot here, but I love being on my own, doing all by myself. First day here went great as my Apple took out time for me and we had a wonderful evening together. And that is enough to make me happy :o) I also made a gift for him, I love making things for him, but forgot it in my cupboard only. So dumb I am at times. Now there is a wish-list of things I have to do after I get well and can walk properly:    1. SHOPPING: Its been so long that I went to do some shopping. I could not go even for window shopping. And i really need to update my wardrobe! 2. MOVIES: I love movies and I have missed so many movies. So its the first thing I am going to do after I'll be able to walk! 3.
