Something to share!

Dear Readers,

I have a news to share with you all.

I got a job (my first job) and very soon I'll start working. I got this good news just 3 days back i.e. on 4th February. I have the joining on 22nd February. Hardly any time left, I know. And thus, I am very busy doing the shopping. I've done only a little till now, so much to do yet in such a little time. I am so happy and excited about my job. The only worry is that I have to join at a new place, new people where I don't know anybody. I have never been to that place before, and its too far and different from here. Also, the climate and food are very different, and I have also heard that most of people fail to adapt to them. So, as of now, it seems like a new world to me. But I am hoping for the best, and I just hope that it turns out to be a good experience to me. I wish it's the change I had been waiting for so long to happen. *Fingers crossed*  First three months are going to be extensive training, with lots of studies and exams. I hope I put in my best energies and do well. Wish me luck lovelies.

P.S. I'll miss my family and my friends a lot. I'll miss everything a lot. You're all my support system, and I'll always need you wherever I might be! And I'll try my best to be regular with blogging, though it might be a bit busy for me at start and I'll need some time to settle down there.

  1. Congratulations on getting a job! I'm sure that things will change, as you will be moving to a new place where you do not know a lot of people. However, we're here for support, as you said, and your family and friends will always be available to turn to as well! I wish you the best in what you must do!!

A day in San Francisco — Memorial Day

If you have followed my blog for sometime, you probably know about my big move across coast. It's been a few months being a Cali resident, but I haven't gotten out as much as I would have liked.  Maybe once we move to a place, it kinda loses the tourist charm that it has when we visit for a weekend. Don't you think? I decided to make this right and this Memorial Day weekend, I spent my first Touristy day in San Francisco. Like anything else, I made a long list of places to see, and spread it across three days based on distance proximity. Yes, it was a whole weekend plan but life get in way and hence it ended up being just a day trip. The day started with a little detour at Bay Trail, near Shoreline Park, followed by a quick brunch at Crepe Vine and a beautiful long drive to the city. The Painting Ladies at Alamo Square was our first stop. These are basically just houses with a Victorian architecture and painted with three or more colors. The whole area l...

Transient Tuesdays: Don’t Be Afraid of Change

There are two types of people: those who fear change and those who actively pursue. I have always been an active pursuer of change, while my brother was not. I was the kid who changed my after school activity until I found what I really loved, with no fear at all. I was the one who changed my hair in middle school, who became a leader in a club during my freshmen year of high school, and who insisted on touring the country at 17.  Change is a choice, and is an active endeavor. And so is not changing. We decide the direction our lives take, and we can either do so with fear or with confidence. Making changes keeps life the way you want it, on the track you wish to take, and is completely you’re choice what to do, or not do. Change shouldn't scare you, because it’s a tool to help you make your life just the way you want. Although staying where you are is comforting, change can make you grow and improve your situation. So go change your hair, your job, your city, or w...

Transient Tuesdays: Create change

Imagine a world where everything remained unchanged. That would mean no age, no time, no movement and of course no development. If you ask me, I see no difference between death and remaining static. When was the last time you did something new?  How long have you been sticking to a routine and disregarded the idea of doing something new for a change? Is any of your bad habits causing you pain?  You realize you have to change but simply can't bring yourself to do it?   Do you fear changing will jeopardize your present circumstances? I’m sure many of you will be able to relate to these questions. The fact that you're reading this means you want to take the steps and turn your life around. You must be aware how important change is to our survival. Change is mandatory. Change is constant. Change is inevitable. Change is everywhere and present in the most minute of things. It's happening to you as you read this. So, why do we shy away from...
