write love — L.O.V.E.

I love anything and everything which is Purple.. Hehe.. Just kidding!

Talking about "LOVE" has never been easy for me.. Once upon a time when I was in high school I thought it's something only for those who are about get married.. Hehe..(I know that sounds little creepy)!

Let me tell you a story..

A girl that is been loved too much by her family and was eldest among all her brothers and sisters once fell in love with this weird guy who was exactly opposite to what she was.

This guy was a lunatic. He was everything which this poor girl never wanted. At every step she just knew he was lying but still she chose to be with him(may be that's what we call DESTINY).

She drifted away with him, leaving behind her family and closest friends. Her sister told her she was making a mistake, her brother stopped talking to her. Nothing stopped her and as always her parents agreed to what she decided for herself.

Days turned into months and months into years, both of them decided to tie a knot. That's where the real story begun.

Deep down the girl never trusted her guy, but since she was determined so they both got married. Gradually the guy started doing everything to keep his girl happy. He surprised her, made her laugh, took her to the vacations, loved her in all possible ways. The life which was once topsy turvy, has turned into the most beautiful fairytale.

Today the girl who was once her daddy's princess have become the QUEEN. And the KING whose magical touch brought the soul back in her body is that the same Lunatic Guy!!!

Happies Endings..
Peace!
P.S. I Love My King

I am thankful for

1. Naps: I had been in sleep debt for such a long time now, and over this weekend I slept well and a lot, and I feel like I have some energy back.  2. Alone time: My roommate was busy this weekend, and I was all alone- just doing my sleeping, laundry, reading. Like I have said before , it is a recharge for me to spend some time with just myself without the need to talk or be there for others.  3. Work: Past few months were a long, painful wait to get work. I used to hate those days when I was just waiting and it made me feel so worthless. But finally, I have got it! Bonus point: the perfect location- it's a five minute walk to a beautiful park facing a lake. I have been going there every day during lunch.  4. Fights: Normally, fights aren't something people are thankful for. But sometimes they show you how people care for you or how much you mean to them, so yeah today I am thankful for few. 5. A good news: My childhood friend got engaged! Yay!...

A day in San Francisco — Memorial Day

If you have followed my blog for sometime, you probably know about my big move across coast. It's been a few months being a Cali resident, but I haven't gotten out as much as I would have liked.  Maybe once we move to a place, it kinda loses the tourist charm that it has when we visit for a weekend. Don't you think? I decided to make this right and this Memorial Day weekend, I spent my first Touristy day in San Francisco. Like anything else, I made a long list of places to see, and spread it across three days based on distance proximity. Yes, it was a whole weekend plan but life get in way and hence it ended up being just a day trip. The day started with a little detour at Bay Trail, near Shoreline Park, followed by a quick brunch at Crepe Vine and a beautiful long drive to the city. The Painting Ladies at Alamo Square was our first stop. These are basically just houses with a Victorian architecture and painted with three or more colors. The whole area l...

Transient Tuesdays: Don’t Be Afraid of Change

There are two types of people: those who fear change and those who actively pursue. I have always been an active pursuer of change, while my brother was not. I was the kid who changed my after school activity until I found what I really loved, with no fear at all. I was the one who changed my hair in middle school, who became a leader in a club during my freshmen year of high school, and who insisted on touring the country at 17.  Change is a choice, and is an active endeavor. And so is not changing. We decide the direction our lives take, and we can either do so with fear or with confidence. Making changes keeps life the way you want it, on the track you wish to take, and is completely you’re choice what to do, or not do. Change shouldn't scare you, because it’s a tool to help you make your life just the way you want. Although staying where you are is comforting, change can make you grow and improve your situation. So go change your hair, your job, your city, or w...
