Make a habit, Break a habit!

Last month I participated in the 'Make a habit, break a habit' linkup hosted by My Passion Journey and The Pinnacle Project, and as the new month starts I want to make and break some new habits.

make-a-habit-break-a-habit
For this month,

  • Habit to make- a sleep routine- going to bed at a proper time, and also taking few minutes before bed to take care of my skin
  • Habit to keep- working out and eating healthy foods
  • Habit to break- the compulsion to check every app on my phone before bed (breaking this habit will also help in the habit I am trying to keep)

What habits do you wanna make or break?

  1. Love this! I, too should really make it a habit going to bed at a decent time, I tend to stay up too long and regret it deeply the next morning when my alarm goes off. Keeping the habit of eating healthy and working out is also something I want to do and the checking your phone before bed, ugh I should stop that as well! I guess great minds think alike!

  4. Your goals are pretty much lifetime goals for me!!! I should probably do some law of attraction by actually writing out for next month.
    Good luck this month :D

A day in San Francisco — Memorial Day

If you have followed my blog for sometime, you probably know about my big move across coast. It's been a few months being a Cali resident, but I haven't gotten out as much as I would have liked.  Maybe once we move to a place, it kinda loses the tourist charm that it has when we visit for a weekend. Don't you think? I decided to make this right and this Memorial Day weekend, I spent my first Touristy day in San Francisco. Like anything else, I made a long list of places to see, and spread it across three days based on distance proximity. Yes, it was a whole weekend plan but life get in way and hence it ended up being just a day trip. The day started with a little detour at Bay Trail, near Shoreline Park, followed by a quick brunch at Crepe Vine and a beautiful long drive to the city. The Painting Ladies at Alamo Square was our first stop. These are basically just houses with a Victorian architecture and painted with three or more colors. The whole area l...

Hey...

Hi lovelies, How are you, and how's everything else in life going? Well, I think I am writing this one too soon, but, never mind! I just had time today, as my test got postponed and thus I am feeling bit relaxed. But, it will happen next week. Alas! (I'm such a procrastinator.)  Life's got very hectic and busy, plus tiring. Every day I get up at 7 AM, go to office, come back after 7 PM. And its goes on the same way daily. I get so tired by the end of day that the only thing I can think of is going to my bed. I can't even study, which is very important. Leaving that aside, I want to explore and move about this place. I feel that since we have got the chance to be here, why not take advantage of the chance. But my friend who's staying with me here isn't very supportive in this case. So, I end up being in the room only! Well, now I'm gonna sign off and study a bit. I had a test today and didn't score well. So I'm worried now. I hope I do well in othe...

3 Motivational Quotes to start your Monday

It's Monday, again!  This weekend went by pretty quickly for me,  and I for one need some motivation to kick-start the week. The best way to gather some motivation for me is by reading,  and I resonate with quotations a lot. And today, I will share some of those with you guys too! “Creativity is intelligence having fun.” — Albert Einstein “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” — C.S. Lewis “Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today.”  —Will Rogers How do you motivate yourself? What's your favorite quote? P.S.
