Waking up early?

Hello scribblers,

If you are anything like me, waking up in the morning is the hardest thing you do every day. I have been trying to make myself a morning person, or something close to that, for so long but even after I get in a routine one late weekend can just bring it back to square one. Anyway, I found this helpful list about "how to wake up earlier". I hope it helps me, and any of you who needs to!

Happy waking up! Happy morning!
Love,

  1. Ok, I am going to try all of these! I so want to be a morning person and it is so not happening. I can blame it on being pregnant, but really I wasn't much of a morning person when I wasn't pregnant and I'm pretty sure I won't be again once this baby is born. This morning I was up at 5:00 because I had to be at work by 6:30 and it was torture. Honestly checking my blog stats, or anything else blog related, has really helped get me up in the morning; it turns my brain on.

  2. I'm so excited to see this list! I have to share a secret though- a few days ago i literally slept at 10:30 (which is an achievement in itself) and the next morning, waking up at my alarm didn't seem to be a struggle. Wish to continue the routine along with the points you've mentioned. I'll print this out and paste it in my bedroom to remind me. Thank you!! :)

    1. I agree Venus. A lot of this has to do with our sleeping times.. Sadly, it is also a hard thing for me to change as I tend to be way too active in night always. Working towards it.... I plan to print it too, it's a good reminder to keep.

    1. Same here, I have never been a morning person. But, as we grow up we HAVE TO get up early. Growing up isn't so much fun :p

A day in San Francisco — Memorial Day

If you have followed my blog for sometime, you probably know about my big move across coast. It's been a few months being a Cali resident, but I haven't gotten out as much as I would have liked.  Maybe once we move to a place, it kinda loses the tourist charm that it has when we visit for a weekend. Don't you think? I decided to make this right and this Memorial Day weekend, I spent my first Touristy day in San Francisco. Like anything else, I made a long list of places to see, and spread it across three days based on distance proximity. Yes, it was a whole weekend plan but life get in way and hence it ended up being just a day trip. The day started with a little detour at Bay Trail, near Shoreline Park, followed by a quick brunch at Crepe Vine and a beautiful long drive to the city. The Painting Ladies at Alamo Square was our first stop. These are basically just houses with a Victorian architecture and painted with three or more colors. The whole area l...

Transient Tuesdays: Don’t Be Afraid of Change

There are two types of people: those who fear change and those who actively pursue. I have always been an active pursuer of change, while my brother was not. I was the kid who changed my after school activity until I found what I really loved, with no fear at all. I was the one who changed my hair in middle school, who became a leader in a club during my freshmen year of high school, and who insisted on touring the country at 17.  Change is a choice, and is an active endeavor. And so is not changing. We decide the direction our lives take, and we can either do so with fear or with confidence. Making changes keeps life the way you want it, on the track you wish to take, and is completely you’re choice what to do, or not do. Change shouldn't scare you, because it’s a tool to help you make your life just the way you want. Although staying where you are is comforting, change can make you grow and improve your situation. So go change your hair, your job, your city, or w...

Transient Tuesdays: Create change

Imagine a world where everything remained unchanged. That would mean no age, no time, no movement and of course no development. If you ask me, I see no difference between death and remaining static. When was the last time you did something new?  How long have you been sticking to a routine and disregarded the idea of doing something new for a change? Is any of your bad habits causing you pain?  You realize you have to change but simply can't bring yourself to do it?   Do you fear changing will jeopardize your present circumstances? I’m sure many of you will be able to relate to these questions. The fact that you're reading this means you want to take the steps and turn your life around. You must be aware how important change is to our survival. Change is mandatory. Change is constant. Change is inevitable. Change is everywhere and present in the most minute of things. It's happening to you as you read this. So, why do we shy away from...
