Tagged for 10

The lovely Brooke, has tagged me to this questionnaire!

I promise to give it my best shot.

So, here I go...

1). What is your dream job?
Talking of dream job, it would be a writer, or something creative. But, as it says, it's a dream job. And in reality I have landed in rat-race of IT sector!

2).  How do you take your tea or coffee?
I like to make my own coffee. But, I am cutting down on coffee these days. So, I prefer tea to coffee. And I love the tea that my mom makes.

3). What is your most important beauty secret?
I'm a super lazy person. I hardly ever do anything that can be considered in this segment. If I have to mention one thing, I think it would be Kohl I use on my eyes when I am going out.

4).  If you had an all-expense paid vacation to anywhere, where would you go?
I would want to go Paris. Take a long relaxed vacation with my love.

5).  If a genie popped up right now, what would your three wishes be?
I: To clear my exam with the score I want.
II: To be transported to my love, right now.
III: To marry him, and have a long happy life full of love together.

6). If you could only have one type of food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Pizza. Pizza. Pizza.

7). What one talent do you wish you had?
I wish I could sing, like those people who have this naturally great voice and skill.

8). Who is your biggest celebrity crush?
Ryan Gosling

9). If you could look into the future, would you?
I guess I won't. As much as I might want to at some point, I don't think there'd be anything left if I just go see the future. Without knowing the future, I have the will to try and get the things I want in my life. And I would like it this way only.

10). What made you start a blog?
I started this blog while I was bedridden because I had broken my foot in road accident. A talk with a friend about blogging initiated it.

I pass on this tag to:
Stephanie
Char
Jenni
Jess
Saumya
Katie
Krystal
Now, it's your turn to brainstorm, girls!!

tea with sugar if it's fruit tea, sugar and milk if it's black. coffee, if I make it at home, with milk. it's simple, really.

A day in San Francisco — Memorial Day

If you have followed my blog for sometime, you probably know about my big move across coast. It's been a few months being a Cali resident, but I haven't gotten out as much as I would have liked.  Maybe once we move to a place, it kinda loses the tourist charm that it has when we visit for a weekend. Don't you think? I decided to make this right and this Memorial Day weekend, I spent my first Touristy day in San Francisco. Like anything else, I made a long list of places to see, and spread it across three days based on distance proximity. Yes, it was a whole weekend plan but life get in way and hence it ended up being just a day trip. The day started with a little detour at Bay Trail, near Shoreline Park, followed by a quick brunch at Crepe Vine and a beautiful long drive to the city. The Painting Ladies at Alamo Square was our first stop. These are basically just houses with a Victorian architecture and painted with three or more colors. The whole area l

What if ... ?

What if — an agonizing feeling that no one is spared from.  We all find ourselves in situations where we look back and think about things we  have done, things we should have done, things we should not have done, or things we should have done differently. They are not necessarily regrets, but more of questioning and second-guessing the choices we have made. I for one get this feeling a lot, and I find myself thinking about how life could have been if my choices would have been different.  What if I studied harder in school:   I would have gotten into a better college with more opportunities, which means better job and satisfaction. But, who can guarantee that would have happened- so I'd rather be happy about the other things I did and not just study all the time. What if I stayed at my old job:  I would have gotten to be roommates with my best friend for a much longer time, and would have definitely enjoyed more and I wouldn’t be stressed because of studying, assi

Transient Tuesdays: Don’t Be Afraid of Change

There are two types of people: those who fear change and those who actively pursue. I have always been an active pursuer of change, while my brother was not. I was the kid who changed my after school activity until I found what I really loved, with no fear at all. I was the one who changed my hair in middle school, who became a leader in a club during my freshmen year of high school, and who insisted on touring the country at 17.  Change is a choice, and is an active endeavor. And so is not changing. We decide the direction our lives take, and we can either do so with fear or with confidence. Making changes keeps life the way you want it, on the track you wish to take, and is completely you’re choice what to do, or not do. Change shouldn't scare you, because it’s a tool to help you make your life just the way you want. Although staying where you are is comforting, change can make you grow and improve your situation. So go change your hair, your job, your city, or w
