For better or for worse?

I've been sitting here for like an hour now, wanting to write something, but not getting a single thought. So, finally I thought why not just do what I am good at. Scribble. Write just anything, without thinking. Why is is that sometimes we get so numb, with no thoughts no responses to anything? Why isolation feels better than being with people? Maybe I know the reason for feeling this way, there's only one reason for me always. But, this is not how it should be. Why my life comes to a halt without him? I don't feel like talking to anyone, I keep on going more and more into loneliness, and this silence keeps drawing on to me. So much, that I feel suffocated, finding it hard to even breathe. Wanting to cry it all out, but unable to. Why!! I don't understand why, whatever I do it turns out to be all wrong, whatever I hope- exactly opposite happens. Is this how things are always going to be for me, all let downs at every point. I don't know how to end this now. The fingers have gotten to typing just anything, I should stop. Yes, I should. Wish I could have a little understanding for me. Wish I wasn't taken wrong at everything. Wish all of it wasn't misunderstood to be selfish!

  2. I know exactly what you mean. Just write it all down, get it all out, don't let yourself be suffocated. Breathe. Take a walk. Scream at something. Ask questions. Sit in silence.

It WILL pass and you WILL fly again. Don't let life bring you down.

I am thankful for

1. Naps: I had been in sleep debt for such a long time now, and over this weekend I slept well and a lot, and I feel like I have some energy back.  2. Alone time: My roommate was busy this weekend, and I was all alone- just doing my sleeping, laundry, reading. Like I have said before , it is a recharge for me to spend some time with just myself without the need to talk or be there for others.  3. Work: Past few months were a long, painful wait to get work. I used to hate those days when I was just waiting and it made me feel so worthless. But finally, I have got it! Bonus point: the perfect location- it's a five minute walk to a beautiful park facing a lake. I have been going there every day during lunch.  4. Fights: Normally, fights aren't something people are thankful for. But sometimes they show you how people care for you or how much you mean to them, so yeah today I am thankful for few. 5. A good news: My childhood friend got engaged! Yay!...

A day in San Francisco — Memorial Day

If you have followed my blog for sometime, you probably know about my big move across coast. It's been a few months being a Cali resident, but I haven't gotten out as much as I would have liked.  Maybe once we move to a place, it kinda loses the tourist charm that it has when we visit for a weekend. Don't you think? I decided to make this right and this Memorial Day weekend, I spent my first Touristy day in San Francisco. Like anything else, I made a long list of places to see, and spread it across three days based on distance proximity. Yes, it was a whole weekend plan but life get in way and hence it ended up being just a day trip. The day started with a little detour at Bay Trail, near Shoreline Park, followed by a quick brunch at Crepe Vine and a beautiful long drive to the city. The Painting Ladies at Alamo Square was our first stop. These are basically just houses with a Victorian architecture and painted with three or more colors. The whole area l...

Transient Tuesdays: Don’t Be Afraid of Change

There are two types of people: those who fear change and those who actively pursue. I have always been an active pursuer of change, while my brother was not. I was the kid who changed my after school activity until I found what I really loved, with no fear at all. I was the one who changed my hair in middle school, who became a leader in a club during my freshmen year of high school, and who insisted on touring the country at 17.  Change is a choice, and is an active endeavor. And so is not changing. We decide the direction our lives take, and we can either do so with fear or with confidence. Making changes keeps life the way you want it, on the track you wish to take, and is completely you’re choice what to do, or not do. Change shouldn't scare you, because it’s a tool to help you make your life just the way you want. Although staying where you are is comforting, change can make you grow and improve your situation. So go change your hair, your job, your city, or w...
