Things that made me happy today

1. SLEEPING: Today was a cool day, a break in the heat of summers. So, I was feeling very lazy. I had 2-3 naps, and enjoyed it a lot. I love sleeping!

2. TALKING ON PHONE: After many days, I got to talk to my Apple, and that makes me super-happy, like always!

3. CLIMBING STAIRS: I went up to the terrace, climbing 20 stairs, and came back. I repeated this once more. For you fit people, this might sound stupid. But for me, its no less than an achievement.

4. RAIN: This year has been real bad summer year, with very less rain and disastrous monsoons. Further bad for me, as I have been isolated from outer world for over a month. Finally, today I enjoyed the rain for first time. My first rain!

5. FOLLOWER: I got 1 more follower Sara, taking the count to 17. I love 17 number, its my birthdate. So that makes me happy!
Also, last but not the least, I am going back tomorrow to get back in my normal routine finally. Though it will take time till I am fully recovered, but I am full of hopes and I am very happy with the little I'll get now. My little freedom! I am loving it :o)

P.S. I would have posted this few hours ago, but there was a long power cut in city, for about 9-10 hours. So all I could do was to wait. I hate power cuts!

A day in San Francisco — Memorial Day

If you have followed my blog for sometime, you probably know about my big move across coast. It's been a few months being a Cali resident, but I haven't gotten out as much as I would have liked.  Maybe once we move to a place, it kinda loses the tourist charm that it has when we visit for a weekend. Don't you think? I decided to make this right and this Memorial Day weekend, I spent my first Touristy day in San Francisco. Like anything else, I made a long list of places to see, and spread it across three days based on distance proximity. Yes, it was a whole weekend plan but life get in way and hence it ended up being just a day trip. The day started with a little detour at Bay Trail, near Shoreline Park, followed by a quick brunch at Crepe Vine and a beautiful long drive to the city. The Painting Ladies at Alamo Square was our first stop. These are basically just houses with a Victorian architecture and painted with three or more colors. The whole area l...

Hey...

Hi lovelies, How are you, and how's everything else in life going? Well, I think I am writing this one too soon, but, never mind! I just had time today, as my test got postponed and thus I am feeling bit relaxed. But, it will happen next week. Alas! (I'm such a procrastinator.)  Life's got very hectic and busy, plus tiring. Every day I get up at 7 AM, go to office, come back after 7 PM. And its goes on the same way daily. I get so tired by the end of day that the only thing I can think of is going to my bed. I can't even study, which is very important. Leaving that aside, I want to explore and move about this place. I feel that since we have got the chance to be here, why not take advantage of the chance. But my friend who's staying with me here isn't very supportive in this case. So, I end up being in the room only! Well, now I'm gonna sign off and study a bit. I had a test today and didn't score well. So I'm worried now. I hope I do well in othe...

3 Motivational Quotes to start your Monday

It's Monday, again!  This weekend went by pretty quickly for me,  and I for one need some motivation to kick-start the week. The best way to gather some motivation for me is by reading,  and I resonate with quotations a lot. And today, I will share some of those with you guys too! “Creativity is intelligence having fun.” — Albert Einstein “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” — C.S. Lewis “Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today.”  —Will Rogers How do you motivate yourself? What's your favorite quote? P.S.
