Go shopping!

Today was a bad day. All I did was sleep! Usually I enjoy sleeping a lot, but not the way it was today. I wasn't feeling well, and was struck by fatigue. And I just don't like that feeling! Moreover, I had planned to study, and sleep spoiled all my plans. And when finally I picked up the books and sat for studying, I had a fight and I was super angry. My head started aching, and I just couldn't concentrate on studying despite trying hard. So, I decided to go out. Though my foot was paining, but I just couldn't stay like that. So, I got ready and went out for window-shopping, which turned into real-shopping as I liked a t-shirt and bought it. Also, I bought two greeting cards. And, all of it really helped to chill my mood. Hence proved: Shopping is really a stress buster!

  1. I guess that's why they call it retail therapy! I wish that I could alleviate some stress by going and spending some money, but I would just feel too guilty. Perhaps one day I will make up for it by going on a large shopping spree.... maybe.... one day.

  2. Exactly how I was feeling today, except the shopping didn't exactly help. I hate sleeping in the day too because when I wake up I have a really hot mouth and feel more tired than before.

  3. I agree completely. They say that its not actually what you buy, but the process of searching that takes your mind off problems and stress.

A day in San Francisco — Memorial Day

If you have followed my blog for sometime, you probably know about my big move across coast. It's been a few months being a Cali resident, but I haven't gotten out as much as I would have liked.  Maybe once we move to a place, it kinda loses the tourist charm that it has when we visit for a weekend. Don't you think? I decided to make this right and this Memorial Day weekend, I spent my first Touristy day in San Francisco. Like anything else, I made a long list of places to see, and spread it across three days based on distance proximity. Yes, it was a whole weekend plan but life get in way and hence it ended up being just a day trip. The day started with a little detour at Bay Trail, near Shoreline Park, followed by a quick brunch at Crepe Vine and a beautiful long drive to the city. The Painting Ladies at Alamo Square was our first stop. These are basically just houses with a Victorian architecture and painted with three or more colors. The whole area l...

Hey...

Hi lovelies, How are you, and how's everything else in life going? Well, I think I am writing this one too soon, but, never mind! I just had time today, as my test got postponed and thus I am feeling bit relaxed. But, it will happen next week. Alas! (I'm such a procrastinator.)  Life's got very hectic and busy, plus tiring. Every day I get up at 7 AM, go to office, come back after 7 PM. And its goes on the same way daily. I get so tired by the end of day that the only thing I can think of is going to my bed. I can't even study, which is very important. Leaving that aside, I want to explore and move about this place. I feel that since we have got the chance to be here, why not take advantage of the chance. But my friend who's staying with me here isn't very supportive in this case. So, I end up being in the room only! Well, now I'm gonna sign off and study a bit. I had a test today and didn't score well. So I'm worried now. I hope I do well in othe...

3 Motivational Quotes to start your Monday

It's Monday, again!  This weekend went by pretty quickly for me,  and I for one need some motivation to kick-start the week. The best way to gather some motivation for me is by reading,  and I resonate with quotations a lot. And today, I will share some of those with you guys too! “Creativity is intelligence having fun.” — Albert Einstein “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” — C.S. Lewis “Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today.”  —Will Rogers How do you motivate yourself? What's your favorite quote? P.S.
